First Tablet Controlled by Eye  - Controlling things with hand movements certainly is not something new. So how to use eye movements? Although still not very popular, but late last year Senseye has developed a mobile phone with an eye-track system. Now the Danish company intends to create the first tablet that is controlled by eye movements.

Eye Tribe, the Danish company which was originally called Senseye is being created a software that allows users to interact with their mobile devices just by looking at her. This startup has managed to raise funds from European investors for $ 800,000. But apparently they have a new breakthrough.

Eye Tribe has announced the launch of a project valued at $ 4.4 million over three years to deliver eye-control system to tablets and smartphones. Of the total $ 4.4 million, $ 2.3 million awarded by the Danish National Advanced Foundation, the Danish government.

Other Vendor Partners include the University of Copenhagen, DTU Informatics, LEGO and Serious Games Interactive. Eye Tribe CEO said in a statement, "With partners like LEGO and Serious Games Interactive, we not only prove that eye tracking can be integrated into mobile devices, but also to make sure if we were able to demonstrate that the technology is useful."

Eye Tribe technology can be used on a large scale and for a variety of devices other than smartphones. The possibilities really are endless.
